Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Raun Schrock, doing business as GlanceTrack (“GlanceTrack,” “we,” “us”). They cover your use of the GlanceTrack service at app.glancetrack.com and the displays connected to it (the “Service”). If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you’re authorized to accept these Terms for that company, and “you” means that company.

1. What GlanceTrack does

GlanceTrack shows information from your Samsara account on a wall display: vehicle status, preventive maintenance, inspection dates, defects, fuel efficiency and, on the Pro plan, vehicle location and trailer assignments. GlanceTrack reads your Samsara data; it never changes anything in your Samsara account. You need your own active Samsara account to use the Service. GlanceTrack is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Samsara Inc.

2. Not a compliance system of record

GlanceTrack displays what your Samsara account reports, as reported. If information in Samsara is missing, out of date, or wrong, the display will be too. GlanceTrack is a visibility tool. It does not replace your maintenance records, inspection records, driver qualification files, or any other records you’re required to keep. You remain solely responsible for maintaining your vehicles and meeting DOT, FMCSA, and all other legal requirements. Don’t rely on GlanceTrack as your only way of tracking deadlines.

3. Free trial

New accounts may receive a free trial (currently 7 days). We don’t collect payment information during a trial, and a trial never turns into a paid subscription automatically. When a trial ends, your dashboard pauses until you subscribe.

4. Plans, fees, and billing

• Basic: $1 per truck per month. Pro: $2 per truck per month.
• Both plans have a 20-truck minimum ($20/month on Basic, $40/month on Pro).
• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• Your billed truck count is the number of trucks you tell us you’re displaying, with a minimum of 20. Please let us know when your fleet grows. After notifying you, we may update your truck count to match the vehicles in your connected Samsara account.
• If you change plans, or your truck count changes, during a billing period, the difference is prorated on your next invoice.
• Prices don’t include taxes. You’re responsible for applicable taxes, which we’ll add where required.
• We may change our prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A new price applies starting with your first billing period after the notice period ends.
• If a payment fails and can’t be collected, we may pause your dashboard until the balance is paid.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime by emailing hello@glancetrack.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and your dashboard keeps working until then. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• connect only Samsara accounts you’re authorized to connect;
• give any notices, and obtain any consents, required by law or by your agreements with your drivers and employees, for their information (such as names, vehicle assignments, medical certificate expiration dates, and on Pro, vehicle location) to be shown on a display in your workplace;
• place displays where the information shown is appropriate, and revoke any paired display that is lost or no longer needed;
• keep your account contact information current; and
• use the Service in compliance with applicable law and with Samsara’s terms.

7. Acceptable use

You won’t attempt to access another customer’s data; probe, scan, or test the Service’s security without our written permission; interfere with or overload the Service; reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows; or resell or sublicense the Service without our written agreement.

8. Your data

Your fleet data remains yours. You permit us to access, process, store, and display it only as needed to provide, secure, and support the Service. We don’t sell your data. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.

9. Our property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it during your subscription. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

10. Third-party services

The Service depends on services we don’t control, including Samsara (your data source), Cloudflare (hosting), and Stripe (payments). If a third party changes, limits, or ends our access, including if Samsara restricts or ends API access for GlanceTrack, parts of the Service may stop working. If that happens and we can’t restore the Service within a reasonable time, we’ll refund prepaid fees for the unused portion of your billing period.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running, but we don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change, or remove features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice and refund prepaid fees for any unused period.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, even if we were told they were possible.
• We aren’t liable for fines, penalties, citations, out-of-service orders, failed inspections, missed maintenance, vehicle breakdowns, or downtime, including any related to information shown or not shown by the Service.
• Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You’ll defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or the law, including claims by your drivers or employees relating to information you chose to display.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you don’t pay, if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if our access to Samsara ends. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections 2, 8, 9, and 12 through 18 continue to apply after termination.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes, we’ll email your account contact at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state courts located in Hardy County, West Virginia, or the federal courts for the Northern District of West Virginia, and both parties consent to that venue.

18. General

These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy are the entire agreement between us about the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Not enforcing a provision isn’t a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
